ACFF offers your Educational Institutional free access to films targeting mental health issues faced by young people.

EDUCATION

Open Dialogues

The objectives of educational institution film screenings and dialogue sessions are to create an immersive experience for young people, allowing them to understand real-life scenarios and promote empathy, understanding, and compassion towards those with lived experience of mental health challenges.

Our goal is to encourage open and honest conversations about mental health and sensitize viewers to the issues and concerns faced by those living with mental illness. By giving a voice to people living with mental health challenges, we aim to inspire, motivate, and encourage change and action towards improving youth mental health.

We are proud long-term partner of the Bell Let’s Talk campaign and the source of their films. With rising numbers of young people struggling with mental health concerns today, it is crucial to provide an environment where young people can have open discussions about mental health challenges.

PROGRAMS

Au Contraire Mental Health Film Ongoing Programs

Our festival is more than just a one-time event. Yearly we provide free youth awareness programs to education institutions all over Canada, helping to promote education and understanding of mental health issues. And we don’t stop there – we also work with corporations and with various community organizations to share our film library and add value to their goals.

Join us in our mission to challenge myths and stereotypes, raise public awareness, and promote social change. Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of something truly special!
